Our Approach

Commercially accountable AI

Commercially accountable AI

SolvedBy.Ai exists to deliver measurable outcomes from AI, not experiments.

Our approach is designed to prove value early through paid, outcome-focused work, share risk fairly, and scale only when results are demonstrated.

Why SolvedBy.Ai is different

Proof of Concept, value before scale

Every engagement with SolvedBy.Ai begins with a paid Proof of Concept. This is a commercial engagement, not a demo, trial, or free pilot.

Each Proof of Concept is tightly scoped, time-bound, and focused on a specific decision or cost driver. It is designed to answer one question: can AI deliver measurable savings or risk reduction in this context? Work is carried out using real customer data and assessed against agreed operational and financial metrics.

Proofs of Concept that demonstrate value progress into Business-as-Usual (BAU) deployment. In BAU, solutions are designed to scale and are targeted to deliver a minimum of 10:1 return on investment, based on validated PoC outcomes.

Shared risk model, aligned investment

SolvedBy.Ai deliberately shares the cost of every Proof of Concept with the customer. The commercial investment is split 50/50.

This ensures incentives are aligned from the outset. Both parties invest, both parties focus on outcomes, and neither side is incentivised to scale without evidence. This is not a pricing tactic or a discount; it is a deliberate risk-sharing model.

Customers pay for real work and real analysis, not promises.

Technology-agnostic by design

SolvedBy.Ai does not replace existing technology. We operate as an AI decision layer that integrates with the systems organisations already use for operations, workforce management, planning, and finance.

By working with existing platforms, SolvedBy.Ai reduces deployment time, limits execution risk, and avoids disruption. Customers retain control of their technology landscape while improving the quality and timing of decisions made within it.

Research-led model selection

Different decisions require different modelling approaches. Forecasting, optimisation, and predictive risk behave differently depending on the data, decision context, and operating environment.

SolvedBy.Ai’s research team, made up of experienced data scientists and PhDs, is responsible for selecting, testing, and tuning the most appropriate algorithms for each Proof of Concept and scaled deployment. We do not rely on a single model or fixed methodology.

Model performance is continuously monitored and improved to ensure outputs remain accurate, relevant, and commercially useful over time.

World-class forecasting

SolvedBy.Ai operates the world’s largest libraries of forecasting algorithms. Every time our forecasts run they test and selected the best models to improve accuracy.

Our forecasts run at greater granularity and over longer horizons than traditional approaches, incorporating deep external demand drivers and improving continuously as patterns change. This relentless focus on reducing forecast error is what allows decisions to move earlier and ROI to be delivered with confidence.

How SolvedBy.Ai works in practice

We identify a high-impact decision or cost driver.

We scope a paid Proof of Concept with clear success criteria.

We co-invest and deliver measurable results.

We work with you and your data for the best outcomes

We review outcomes objectively.

We scale only where value has been proven.

Why this matters

AI investment should be based on evidence, not expectation.

SolvedBy.Ai requires value to be demonstrated through paid Proofs of Concept, aligns incentives through shared cost, and applies appropriate models to real problems so organisations scale AI only where outcomes justify it.

Start with a proof of concept, not promises

We partner with organisations to deploy AI through paid, outcome-led Proofs of Concept that target specific decisions and cost drivers. Value is measured, risk is shared, and AI only scales where results are proven.

FAQ

A paid Proof of Concept is a scoped, time-bound commercial engagement where SolvedBy.Ai applies AI to a specific decision or cost driver using real customer data, with the explicit objective of proving measurable impact.

Because meaningful outcomes require real work, real data, and committed teams on both sides. A paid Proof of Concept ensures the work is taken seriously, scoped properly, and assessed against agreed success measures.

Pilots and trials often explore technology without clear success criteria. A Proof of Concept with SolvedBy.Ai is designed to answer a single question: does AI materially improve this decision or outcome? If the answer is no, the work stops.

It means SolvedBy.Ai shares the financial cost of the Proof of Concept equally with the customer. Both parties invest, and neither side benefits from continuing unless value is demonstrated.

Sharing cost aligns incentives. SolvedBy.Ai has a direct stake in delivering results, not just completing work. This prevents situations where the customer carries all the risk if outcomes fall short.

The structure itself is intentional. It reflects how SolvedBy.Ai works and how risk is shared. The scope of the Proof of Concept is defined carefully so the investment remains limited and appropriate.

Customers commit a defined budget, access to relevant data, and time from subject-matter experts for the duration of the Proof of Concept. There is no requirement for long-term licences or broader deployment at this stage.

No. If the Proof of Concept does not demonstrate sufficient value, there is no obligation to scale or continue.

The Proof of Concept is focused on a decision or cost driver where improved foresight or optimisation would materially change outcomes. The scope is agreed jointly and tied to measurable impact.

Outcomes are defined upfront and may include cost reduction, risk reduction, improved planning accuracy, or performance improvement, depending on the use case. The key requirement is that outcomes are measurable.

Proofs of Concept are deliberately time-bound. The duration depends on the decision being tested and the availability of data, but they are designed to reach a clear conclusion quickly.

If results are inconclusive, the default position is not to scale. The purpose of the Proof of Concept is to create clarity, not momentum.

By defining success criteria, timelines, and decision points upfront. The work is designed to end with a clear “scale or stop” outcome.

If value is demonstrated, the customer can choose to scale the solution more broadly. The scope, commercial model, and rollout approach are then defined based on what was proven.

No. Scaling decisions are made separately, based on demonstrated value. There is no automatic conversion or forced commitment.

SolvedBy.Ai operates as an AI decision layer that connects to existing operational, planning, workforce, and financial systems. It does not require system replacement.

Technology-agnostic design allows SolvedBy.Ai to work with the systems organisations already rely on, reducing deployment risk and avoiding unnecessary disruption.

No immediate process redesign is required. The focus is on improving decision quality and timing using existing workflows.

Model selection is handled by SolvedBy.Ai’s research team, based on the nature of the data, the decision being improved, and the behaviour being modelled.

Because different problems behave differently. Forcing a single model across forecasting, optimisation, and predictive tasks reduces accuracy and usefulness.

Model performance is monitored continuously, and approaches are refined as more data becomes available or conditions change.

SolvedBy.Ai engagements are designed around a minimum 10:1 return on investment. In practice, this is delivered through improved demand accuracy that reduces cost, waste, and inefficiency while protecting revenue and service.

ROI is measured using the client’s real operational and financial data, focusing on outcomes such as reduced overtime, lower inventory and waste, improved utilisation, and more stable delivery against plan. We only scale where this level of return is demonstrably achievable.

World-class forecasting and decision optimisation require real data, real effort, and commercial accountability. A paid Proof of Concept ensures the work is taken seriously on both sides and allows value to be proven objectively rather than promised.

It also protects clients from scaling AI that does not deliver measurable results.

TL;DR

Most AI initiatives fail because value is assumed, not proven.
SolvedBy.Ai takes a different approach: every engagement starts with a paid, outcome-led Proof of Concept, focused on a specific operational or financial decision and measured against clear success criteria.

We only scale AI where it demonstrably delivers value, aligning incentives, sharing risk, and ensuring investment is justified by real, measurable impact.
